A lot of good that did me...

So you know how I FINALLY found my camera cord?!  Well, a lot of good it did me because I didn't even take my nice newly charged camera with me today, and a lot of fun stuff happened:
1. I went to my friend's apartment and we did homework.
2. We made lunch.
3. We never went back to doing homework.  Instead we watched HILARIOUS youtube videos.
4. I went bowling.

Okay, so just looking at it like that it doesn't seem like there would be very many pictures, but that's why I NEED pictures, becuase there's tons that happened when I didn't have my camera with me:(.

Rule for Courtney: Take your camera with you EVERYWHERE and take pictures!!!

Oh where is my October?!

I can't believe it is already almost the end of October!!  I swear last week was the beginning of the month!  I don't have a costume for Halloween yet, but I don't know if I will need one since I don't really have any parties to go to... maybe I should throw my own party.

I have only 73 days until I go to London!  I am going to apply for a passport today.  I read the study abroad student manual yesterday.  It is a small book, but it is pretty boring.  I'm still trying to figure out exactly how long/where/if I am going to stay and travel after the program is over.  I am hoping to stay and go to either Rome or Greece.  Italy will most likely win-I just want to see Rome so much!!

On a side note, I finally found my camera cord!  It was in a box in the very top corner of my closet.  Pictures will come soon.

Who are you Harry Potter?!

Once upon a time I was just sitting on the couch minding my own business working on a paper for school when my dear sister came in to see what I was up to.  I explained that I was editing my paper and asked if she would like to help.  She then declined and left.  About 45 minutes later I took my paper into the other room to have my mommy read it over for one last edit.  While in there Alyson asked me to text someone for her, I then explained that I had left my phone in the other room.  She replied by informing me that my cell phone was right next to me on the floor.  I picked it up and attempted to send the text, but to my surprise 30-40 of my most used contacts' names had been replaced with the names of Harry Potter characters.  It has been weeks, and my phone is still not the same.  I still have no idea who some of the characters are, and I probably never will.  Thank You Alyson.

Also, in case you were wondering, she got the idea from pinterest.

October

This week I went out to lunch with my mommy and sister.  We went to this amazing place in Springville(because that's where Alyson works, so we met during her lunch break).  It's called Joe Banditos.  It's mexican.  It was SO GOOD!!  My mamma even bought some of their amazing salsa to bring home-the only problem is that it is hotter each time I have some.  It was so fun to just spontaneously go to lunch though.

My parents left on Thursday to go to Florida.  Orlando.  That means they're going to DISNEY WORLD. I am so jealous!! I love Disney World.  They're not coming back until Saturday.  It's going to be an interesting week.  Wish me luck.

Study abroad verdict

I got a very exciting e-mail today.  I'm going to be in LONDON in less than 90 days.  It's so exciting, a little overwhelming, but I can't wait.

A letter to a close friend

Dear Fall,
I am writing to apologize for that rude comment I mad the other day when I said I was said you were here.  You are amazing with your beautiful colors and your cool temperatures.  Please forgive me and come back soon, and really, you are welcome to stay for a couple of weeks too!

Please excuse my horrible photography skills and the fact that this is an old picture.

A MAJOR DECISION

I need to choose a major.  I have never had a declared major in college, and it's a little scary to think about actually declaring.  My mom told me at the beginning of this semester that I am wasting money in college right now.  Declaring a major means that when people ask you what you are studying/what you want to be when you grow up, you actually have to give an answer.  But it's not just the answer, it is your life.  Your major becomes part of you, because your major, whether you end up in a career, or even if you never work a day in your life, it is still that degree that you spent YEARS studying and worrying about.  Wish me luck.
